 Patrick Eden Biography
Patrick Eden is a self taught photographer, who has been a full time professional since 1985.
His work has been used throughout the world via the Image Bank picture agency. Being used in
such titles as Paris Match, The Sunday Times, Stern and Time Magazine. Most Sailing Magazine
and Newspapers have used his sailing Images.
Companies as diverse as Revlon, Swiss Air, Daiwoo and Chase Manhattan Bank have also used
Images. On the Isle of Wight Patrick has worked for the United Kingdom Sailing Academy for
nearly seventeen years. Other local clients include. Pascall Electronics, Neutrik, English
Heritage, National Trust, IOW Council, EPS Marine, Texaco, Regent, Gully Howard Surveyors,
Christopher Scott Assoc, AVO, Southern Vectis, Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Illustrated
London News Group, pop group Level 42 and many more.
Patrick has a large selection of Images on file of the Isle of Wight and Solent region.
His basic philosophy is, "If I can see it, hear it or smell it, I will photograph it.."
